2021 WASSCE results have been released

On Monday, WEAC released the 2021 WASSCE for School Candidates, in Nigeria. Mr Patrick Areghan, Head of The Nigeria National Office in Abuja, said the examination was written in the Member Countries of the council which are Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, The Gambia and Sierra Leone, therefore, making it an international examination. The same international timetable was used he said. The examination results were released 45 days after the last paper was written.

He also said the results were still released on time even though a week was lost during the Anambra Gubernatorial election.

Candidates can now check their results either by SMS or by using the WEAC portal

Checking your Result by SMS is easy. According to the WAEC, all you have to do is send  WAEC*ExamNumber*ExamCardPIN*ExamYear to the shortcode 32327

N30 will be then deducted from the candidate’s initial airtime balance for the message to be sent.

The results will be sent to the candidate’s phone.

Checking your Result Online by using the WEAC Portal is easy too.

Type in the 10 digit Examination Number given by WAEC.

(Your 7 digit centre number before your 3 digit candidate number, for example, 2147458786)

Type in the year of Examination.

Choose the between private candidate results and school candidate results.

Type in your e-Pin Voucher Number.

Type in the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN.

Tap on the “SUBMIT” button and your results will show shortly after.
